The Vision
AN ONLINE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM FOR COACHES
Linda’s book, Dancing with Disruption offers a transformative, emotional reframing tool called HAIL™.
This framework empowers people to successfully maneuver disruptions and specifically the variety of emotions that often get in the way of moving through change.
Linda wanted to leverage the publication of her second book and scale her impact by offering an online certification program for coaches. The project was initially an in-person program and included 3 cohort sessions.
The goal was to be able to train other coaches to use the HAIL™ tool with their own clients either as an additional tool or as a standalone program or tool.

“I run a consultancy called the Transition Institute, which is a research organization, as well as an organization that certifies others on transformation methods. My work is focused on what happens in transformational change, both in the corporate arena as well as in individuals lives. I train business leaders, coaches and social workers. I’ve spent more than a decade doing research in this arena. I've written two books, I host a podcast
Formerly the CEO of a venture- backed company, I have been in the business arena for over 40 years.”
The Challenge
Although she was a seasoned CEO and a skilled facilitator, Linda had never designed and launched a training program for her own book before.
She knew she needed help.
She also knew right away that she wanted to seek certification from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) for her work in transformational change.
The Process
It all starts with some creative brainstorming and asking ourselves what would participants experience & accomplish through the certification program? This initial work allows us to craft a compelling “program promise”.
Once we have a solid vision we gradually get more granular, looking at things like the flow of the session, the activities and identifying the resources needed to accomplish this.
With Linda’s input, I guided the program design and the creation of the the resources we needed to make it a success.
To support Linda further, I co-facilitated the in-person session and all of the online cohort sessions including the monthly community calls we still do.
